Adult Hebrew Classes

Beginning Hebrew, focusing on pronunciation, prayers, conversation, some grammar, and broad understanding of how language works with Nina Katz.
This class begins with learning to use the language app Duolingo effectively and continues with learning to pronounce sounds that may make Hebrew seem a bit tricky. Students then begin learning on Duolingo, as well as prayers, and simple conversations. In addition, students learn prayers with multiple gender options for both G!d and people. This class will prepare students to read prayers and can lead to an adult b-mitzvah. Students should be prepared to spend 5-20 minutes a day practicing.
