Y’ladim BaTeva
Summer Forest Adventure

Y’ladim BaTeva Summer Forest Adventure gives children the opportunity to explore the wonders of woods, fields and streams in an informal way while framing their experience through the lens of Judaism. Children will visit with farm animals, play games, explore trails and rivers, brooks and ponds, and make friends with a tree. They investigate habitats and watersheds, make nature crafts, keep a nature journal, learn nature blessings, and have quiet time each day. Children will spend part of one day doing a service project at the Framingham Community Farm, helping to grow fresh food for a local food pantry.

Y’ladim BaTeva Summer Forest Adventure is sponsored by Ma’yan Tikvah as part of its Judaism Outdoors! initiative. This program is designed for rising 2-6th graders, or 6 years old by January 1. Group size is limited to 12 children, who will be led by two adult leaders and a teen assistant. Until March 15, the early bird registration and payment fee is $350. From March 16 to July 1, the fee is $400, and after July 1, the late fee is $450. Scholarships are available. Details of drop-off locations will be provided after registration.
